The OEA core team is Kim Polgreen, Megan Murray-Pepper and Phoebe Mortimer. Together we run events which support young people and their educators on climate and nature learning, in collaboration with our partner organisations.
Kim Polgreen is an honorary fellow at the Oxford University Department of Education and the Community and Schools Officer at the Leverhulme Centre for Nature Recovery at Oxford University. Megan Murray-Pepper until 2023 was a teacher and sustainability lead at Magdalen College School, Oxford. Phoebe Mortimer is a teacher at Cheney School, Oxford, and the Sustainability Lead for the River Learning Trust.
We have recently been joined by Evelyn Sanderson, as an associate. Evelyn is working with Kim on the Oxford Nature Park project.
We also have a growing number of fantastic interns who contribute hugely to our work. In 2025 we had three interns who each took on a particular task: Maria, Tiye and Philippa. Read more about their project and what they are doing to further the course of sustainability.
