Please ask your parent/carer to read the information below and then fill in this form so that we know they understand how events run and that you have permission to be a member of OxSSN, attend OxSSN events and to receive information about further OxSSN events and opportunities.

OxSNN is an initiative of Oxford Earth Academy, supported by the Oxford Education Deanery. It is covered by the OEA health and safety and safeguarding procedures which you can find on this website.

Students in Y10 and above from different local schools make their own way there and take part in activities organised by local teachers, volunteers and subject experts. The events take place in university buildings where staff and student who are not connected with OxSSN will be working. Students should register for specific events in advance with the individual ‘register here’ sign up forms on the main OxSSN page. If students need any support during the event we have the details you have provided from here. If you want confirmation that they have arrived to events please check with them. N.B If the event is in the School of Geography, there is no public wifi in the building and poor network coverage, so they should text you from outside to tell you they have arrived.
