MP Layla Moran and Afghan refugees at Wytham Woods

Kim Polgreen
9 January 2022

In December 2021, Wytham Woods worked with the charity Asylum Welcome to put on an event for Afghan refugees who are living in hotels near Oxford. Local MP Layla Moran and her colleague, the Lib Dem Deputy Leader of the Vale Council, stepped in to help and valiantly spent the day heating up soup and talking to the group. The story was picked up by the Oxford Mail.
